Delete Your AI Language Tutor Account

This page explains how to delete your AI Language Tutor account and the personal data associated with it, in accordance with Google Play's account-deletion requirements and the GDPR right to erasure (Art. 17).

App: AI Language Tutor (com.ailanguagetutor.app)
Developer / Controller: Individual Entrepreneur Snisar Viktoriia (ФОП Снісар Вікторія) / PE SNISAR VIKTORIIA — registered in Dnipro, Ukraine.

In-app deletion (preferred)

You can delete your AI Language Tutor account directly from the app:

1. Open the AI Language Tutor app on your device.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

The in-app flow is the fastest and does not require us to verify your identity manually.

Web deletion request (alternative)

If you cannot access the app — for example, you uninstalled it or lost device access — email support@ailanguagetutor.app with the subject "Account deletion request".

To process your request, we may ask for information needed to verify that you control the account. This typically includes the email address you used to register and, if applicable, the approximate date of your last sign-in.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete or irreversibly anonymize:

• Your account profile (email, display name, native language, preferences)
• Your learning data (conversation transcripts, vocabulary entries, scenario progress, drill results)
• Stored voice audio recordings (pronunciation samples and uploaded meeting audio)
• Authentication tokens (access and refresh tokens) and active sessions
• Your analytics identity where technically feasible (PostHog deletion is also available on request)
• Push notification tokens
• Subscription state mapping in our records (your underlying App Store / Google Play subscription is separate — see below)

What may be retained

Some records may be retained where required by law or to protect legitimate interests:

• Tax and accounting records related to paid subscriptions (typically 7 years under Ukrainian law)
• Records related to fraud prevention, security incidents, or legal disputes, only for as long as necessary
• Records required by Apple App Store, Google Play, or payment-platform policies (for example, dispute-resolution evidence)

Timeline

Account deletion is completed within 30 days after your request is verified. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.

Subscription cancellation

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop future renewals, you must also cancel your subscription separately:

• iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → AI Language Tutor → Cancel Subscription
• Android: Google Play app → Profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → AI Language Tutor → Cancel subscription

Sign in with Apple

If you used Sign in with Apple, we will revoke the linked Apple identifier from our records as part of account deletion. You may also revoke our app's access from your Apple ID settings: Settings → [Your Name] → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → AI Language Tutor → Stop using Sign in with Apple.
